While presenting this gift to the University on <i><b>Tuesday, June 19, 2018</b></i>, <b><i>Governor Okowa</i></b> noted that his donated was a <b><i>fulfilment of his promise to the University </i></b>after being conferred the "<b><i>dignity of man award</i></b>" at the university's <b><i>57th Convocation ceremony.</i></b></div>

In response to this, the university's Vice Chancellor, <b><i>Prof. Benjamin Ozumba</i></b> thanked the Governor for his good work, describing the donation as a timely intervention that would <b><i>boost medical service delivery in the university. </i></b>He further stated that the ambulance will complement his effort at establishing a <b><i>diagnostic centre in Nsukka campus.</i></b></div>
