<b><span style="font-family: Times, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: x-large;"><i>S</i></span></b>tudents often complain of the difficulties they encounter when trying to <b><i>take note during their classes.</i></b> This is apparently because, a high number of teachers in the teaching profession today, find it <b><i>debilitating to take the whole of a classroom along when teaching to them.</i></b> Thus, while some students will be able to follow up the teaching and are able to make good note from it, some students will not.</div>

In other to be able to take note effectively in the classroom, you must concede that <b><i>coming early to the classroom is very paramount.</i></b> In fact, it is fundamental because without it, other guides listed here, will not be practicable.</div>

Coming early to the classroom has a lot of benefit to a student who want to improve or take good note in the classroom. <b><i>First is that it helps to keep the student relaxed,</i></b> before the teacher comes in. More so, it gives the student the opportunity to get his/her writing materials prepared for taking note in the impending teaching. So you see, this point is apparently inevitable for an effective note taking in the classroom. </div>

It is advisable (if you are in the classroom), to take your notebook and pen out of your bag, keep them on your desk or anywhere you will feel comfortable, and prepare your mind for the teaching. You will agree with me that, it is not everything that a teacher says during the course of his teaching, is actually part of the teaching. <b><i>Because it is quite impossible to write as fast as the teacher is speaking</i></b>, it is thus pertinent to note only the main points in the teaching. </div>

Though, this might be difficult. But it can not be overruled. You must be able to get the <b><i>main points during the teaching, and note them down. </i></b>This will go a long way in improving your note-taking and writing skill.</div>

 4. <b><span style="font-size: large;">Use Abbreviations and acronyms:</span></b></div>

The use of Abbreviations and acronyms is another great way to improve effective note taking in the classroom. This is because they help you save much time and stress. Take for instance, when your teacher say something like; <b><i>The West Africa Examination Council is an Examination body.</i></b> You can instead note that "<b><i>WAEC is an examination body".</i></b> Yes, it seems shorter and easier right?  </div>

That it how the frequent use of abbreviations and acronyms can help improve effective note taking in the classroom. However, if you feel it is very important, then you can carry on. </div>

Because note taking is a conscientious activity,<b><i> it is advisable not to talk while taking note in the the classroom.</i></b> This is because when taking note in the classroom, you are inversely doing two different tasks together (I.e <b><i>listening and writing</i></b>). Thus, there is an increase in the tasks, if you add talking to the tasks you are already performing.<b><i> And believe me, it will be more difficult if not totally impossible to do all these things at the same time.</i></b> So, talking is not advisable during note taking.</div>

This is because, mathematics is assumed to be the most difficult subject in education. One of the most prevalent reasons why many students hate Mathematics, is its <b><i>technicality</i></b>. Unlike every other subject, Mathematics is very technical and can seldom be studied without ardent reasoning and logical representation. <i><b>Mathematics is often flooded with formulas and theories that must be painstakingly used to arrive at answers. </b></i>This to a large extent, is one the reasons why many students dislike mathematics, as it requires more than just studying.</div>

<li><b>It is very complex</b></li>

Another reason why many student dislike mathematics, is its <i><b>complexity</b></i>. Apparently, real mathematics is very complex and convoluted. It takes only students with high intellects to learn and understand its complexity. Mathematics has never been simple. In some mathematical problems, you can barely arrive at the right answer without apply <b><i>two or more mathematical theories or formulas</i></b>. Thus, students gets so debilitated, as they find is very difficult to do this mixture of formulas.</div>

Every student can attest of this. <i><b>You can't study mathematics at the same duration you study other course, </b></i>and understand it perfectly. To study Mathematics wholeheartedly, you must spend extra time on it, before you are able to understand. This is uncontestably as a result of it complexity and technicality. This is also another key reason why may students hate mathematics, and keep running away from it. </div>

While i soughed to know some of the reasons why many students dislike Mathematics, i found out that one of it, is the difficulty in <b><i>debugging errors</i></b> made when solving a mathematical problem. Sometimes you make only a little error in the cause of answering a question; and that error, will turn to ruin your entire work. However, it doesn't even end there. The <i><b>biggest problem comes when you can't even find the error to correct.</b></i></div>

Another reason why many students dislike mathematics is its use of too many formulas. Not every student like answering questions with<b><i> too much formulas. </i></b>And that is apparently inevitable in solving any mathematical problem. At some point in mathematics, you must use a formula before you arrive at an answer. <i><b>This has however, made many students dislike the subject</b></i>, as they have find out that the use of formulas in solving problems, is pertinent; if not totally compulsory.</div>

As a result of how difficult it is, to debug errors when solving Mathematical problems, it has also tend to be a frustrating exercise. While speaking with a mathematics student some days ago, he told me that it took him about <b><i>4hours</i></b> to find out the little mistake he made when answering his assignment question. This is obviously what not every student can do. Thus,  those who are unable to go through this <i><b>frustrating exercise</b></i>, tend to develop great aversion to mathematics.</div>

Another reason why many students dislike mathematics is its <b><i>dynamism</i></b>. Mathematical questions are never in one form; unlike Government, Civic Education, CRS and other subjects. For instance, someone can ask the mathematical question <b><i>"2+4+6-2=?"</i></b>, And in anther occasion, this same question can be asked in another form Example, <b><i>6+4+2-2=?. </i></b>This often get students infuriated, as a great ability of reasoning correctly is paramount in solving any mathematical problem.</div>

6 Importance Of Library To Students In School

The first thing every teacher must do, it to know his/her student's character. Students carries different characters, and it takes only someone who knows their divergent characters to easily follow them up (that is to assist them). If you are bias in treating students, then you must be prepared to teach a class of hatred. As a teacher, you are not supposed to consider religion, family, tribe and others, while doing anything in the classroom. Make sure everyone is equal to the other and also stop any form of discrimination among them. While teaching, must make sure you carry ever body along with you. Even when "student A" seems not to be brilliant, make him feel as if he is. Don't commend "student B" as the only brilliant student in the class, but make the unintelligent once feel as if they are almost at the verge of being the best.<br />

However, this does not mean you should totally digress from what you are supposed to teach.<br />

Giving students the opportunity to express themselves in any class room activity, is a good way of making students learn what has been thought in class. Like I said before, you must learn to Carry everyone along. By doing this, you are solving many problem of your students like; the problem of being shy, not being able to express themselves and more importantly, it helps them become more socialize. Giving students the opportunity to participate in classes/school activities also makes you a great teacher, because it inversely improves learning.<br />

While you are busy creating a good conversation, familiarity and relationship between you and your students, you must also be disciplined. Because, some students may want to abuse it.
